Our Founder
Matri was founded in 2017 by Dr. Alisha Mohamed. Dr. Mohamed is a Molecular Biologist & Geneticist with over 20 years of laboratory experience.
After gaining her PhD at Temple University in Philadelphia, she continued with her post doctoral work at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Stanford University.
Maitri was founded in an effort to improve the diagnosis and profiling of diseases through molecular techniques. Maitri’s mission is to deliver world-class, innovative diagnostic solutions to the Caribbean.
